The Count Down Has Begun!

Well, I'm well into my last semester at Multnomah and I can't believe that it has gone this fast! I won't be officially graduating until May because I want to walk with the rest of my class, but my time at MU is coming to an end that this is helping me focus more and more on what is coming next. The 1 year countdown is underway (started the second week in August), which means that in less than 11 months I will be getting on a plane, Lord willing, Germany bound! In some ways it feels so far away and then on the other hand it could be tomorrow. I have a lot to do to get ready to go, but my heart is already there with the students.

God is continuing to bless and encourage me in this journey. Almost every time I have the "what are you doing with your life after college?" conversation, I end up finding about yet another person who knows someone who has been/is/or wants to go to BFA. I'm networking like crazy these days and it is so encouraging that God is already putting people in my life who I may build relationships with in Germany.

This summer I have gotten very connected at my church here in Portland, The Well Community Church. Through that I have begun the process of having them help me through this missions process. It has been so encouraging to share my heart for the world there and to be encouraged to move forward! I am beginning to build some amazing relationships there that show Christ to be all the time.

As more happens with the process I will let you know! If you have questions please send me a message or talk to me sometime. And if you have been keeping up with my adventure and have been asking how I've been doing I want you to know how much I appreciate it. Your care and support mean more than I can say!

If you would please join me in prayer, I need to get support letters written and sent out. Please pray that as they go out they would be read and be an encouragement to those who receive them. Also pray that I can set up many one-on-one visits to share my vision for BFA and Germany. I truly want to share my heart in a more personal way than just a letter with as many as I can!

Thank you for taking the time to read and I will try and most more soon...maybe the next one will have more details about BFA. Stay tuned!
